Ivy- Plum Pie, Purple Monster

I chose to make the costume of Ivy as I wanted to expand my textiles and corsetry skills. The pattern drafting of the bodice challenged me as I struggled to visualise a 3D garment into 2D paper. I think next time I make a bodice like this I would try draping a pattern on the stand. Pattern drafting is something I’ve always struggled with, however my understanding is improving, as I barely needed to change the pattern of the skirt after the toile fitting.
